Business conditions hiring contract

  1.  The hired object consists of:
    A) A stationary caravan with awning and inventory

    B) A mobile-home with inventory

    The list of inventory is part of the contract. The hired object can only be used by those listed in the contract.

 

  1. Price of hire: The price does not include the tourist tax, registration fees or any other charges (ex. for dogs) which may be made by the campsite. (except otherwise stated in the brochure!)

 

  1. Check-in day: The caravan is available from 4pm local time.

 

 

  1. The hirer is obliged to take care of the hired object. When leaving the caravan it is important to secure it against stormy weather conditions (windows, doors and awning should be closed, the entrance weighed down with stones). Herrings, rope etc. should also be checked.

 

  1. Check-out day: The caravan must be vacated by 10am local time.

 

 

  1. Cleaning: The caravan must be well-swept INSIDE before it is handed over. The cleaning charges are printed in the brochure and are to be paid on site.

 

  1. The following should be done before checking out: lights, refrigerator and heating switched off, refrigerator door opened, windows closed, water canister emptied, caravan locked, awning closed, keys handed in.

 

 

  1. Campsite rules must be observed. Should any campsite users be found to cause danger, offence, distress and/or damage to property of any kind, the campsite reserve the right to ask them to leave the site. The company is not be liable to pay any refund, compensation or additional expenses incurred by you. In addition, no legal claim can be made to the company concerning the position of the hired object (pitch size, condition etc.). A parking space for cars only is included in the contract (this excludes any camping vehicle)

 

  1.  It is also not allowed to pitch any extra tents on site.

 

 

  1. Insurance: The company has a comprehensive insurance with certain exclusions: the hirer is liable to pay for any damage caused by himself or any of his party members. The company are not liable to pay any compensation for damaged or stolen belongings (such as car, bicycle).

 

  1. Accident: In case of an accident, the company should be contacted immediately. Names of witnesses should be registered. The hirer has no right to make decisions or sign any conditions made by the insurance company without the knowledge and consent of the rental company. The company is not responsible for the return home journey of the hirer.

 

 

  1. It is not allowed to rent out the hired object to a third party.

 

  1. Withdrawal: Should the hired object for any reason not be available, the company reserves the right to receive a replacement of the same size and price and time or withdraw from the contract. The company refunds all payments made. The company is not liable to pay any compensation in this case.

 

 

  1. A FORCE MAJEURE means unforeseen circumstances such as but not limited to; war, threat of war, civil strife, industrial dispute, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions etc. The company shall not be liable for damages, compensation for cancellation due to Force Majeure.

 

  1. Delay: Should the hirer delay his departure without the company’s knowledge or agreement, a 100% rent will be charged for the extra time. The hirer is also responsible for the possible claim for damages made by his successor.

 

 

  1. Should the hirer be dissatisfied with the hired object on arrival, he should immediately report to an on-site representative or telephone directly the company. No claims can be made after the use of the hired object.

 

  1. Criminal law, customs law: The company is not liable for the violation of criminal or custom laws made by the hirer.

 

 

  1. Gas: The company does not take any responsibility in the case of gas accidents.

 

  1. Cancellation: A cancellation fee of 37 E will apply for a booking you wish to cancel. In addition, the following charges are also applicable: Notice period-30 days- prior to date of hire-50% of the rent; from the 29th day-90% of the rent. We recommend you take out a cancellation insurance policy.

 

 

  1. Charges: The company is responsible for the charges of the contract.

 

Any enquiries concerning this contract have to be made to the court of justice in Liezen.
