Latium Camping Onda Azzurra Friaul Emilia-Romagna Toskana Lombardei / Gardasee Venetien Kalabrien Kampanien Apulien

Calabria is split up into 5 provinces and has an area of 15,080 sq. km and 2 million inhabitants.

Calabria is the most southern region of Italy on the mainland and forms the toe of the Italian boot. The capital of the region is Batanzaro. In the north, Calabria borders on Basilcata, in the west on the Tyrrhenian Sea and in the east on the Ionian Sea. The Straits of Messina separates Calabria from the island of Sicilly. Citrus fruits and many other types of fruit and vegetables grow on the fertile plains on the coast and in the river valleys. Wine also plays an important role in this region.
