The city of Vienna is the capital of Austria; over the course of its existence, it has developed into one of the most important cities in Central Europe.

Sports and Activities

Sports enthusiasts can find the popular recreation areas of Vienna, the “Lobau Donau-Auen” national park and the Donauinsel (Danube Island) near the campsite. The 20km stretch of beach with magnificent swimming bays, sunbathing areas, sports fields and playgrounds is on the artificial branch of the Danube. There are many sports facilities available: Swimming, water ski lift, surfing, diving and riding school, fishing and beach volleyball. 

 

In just 10 minutes, one is on famous Copa Cagrana island with countless restaurants, bars and island discos.
